After years of faithful service playing the organ Margaret stepped down at Easter.
I know all of you will join me in saying a big thank you to Margaret who for many years she has supported the church and everyone in the congregation.
Young or old, friend or new visitor Margaret greets everyone with a smile and a friendly word. A true Christian who shows God’s love through her actions.
It was lovely to see so many people at the 11:00am service as we celebrated Easter and made a presentation to Margaret after the service.
And Margaret was presented with flowers after Evensong.
Margaret will still be an active member of our congregation but we hope we can find someone who will be able to take over responsibility for playing the organ at the 11:00 service each week and at Evensong twice a month.
If you would be interested in playing the organ or know someone who may be willing to play the organ please let the Church Warden know.
