The open afternoons proved a success as we welcomed quite a number of visitors to St Michael & All Angels Church, some taking advantage of our guided tours to learn more about the history of the church while others preferred to just wander around at their own pace.

Despite a 3rd of the church being concealed  behind scaffolding and plastic sheeting while the builders & architect continue to asses the extent of the damage caused to the roof by death watch beetle everyone seemed to have a good time and thanks to the Easter Egg Tombola and donations we raised over £100. We also received a couple of donations for the “roof fund”.

We would like to thank all the people who worked so hard to make the visitors feel welcome.
Also all the people who took the opportunity to visit, your support is vital and contributes to the future of our church for generations to come.
