On Sunday afternoon on the 9th October a quarter peal of bells were rung in memory of a Tarleton ringer who sadly died on 3rd October 2016.
Alan Dyson was tower captain there for a long time and has helped Croston out on many occasions.
He was well known to all the band who rang today.
