On the 18th August 2019 members of the congregation and friends joined Dorothy & Roy Worthington to celebrate their Diamond Wedding Anniversary after the service at St Peters church.
It was lovely to see so many people enjoying such a special event.

Among the many cards were cards from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II congratulating them on such a special event and Bishop Julian which included a personal message of congratulations.
Their special cake was designed to reflect their work & ministry in the church as Roy plays the organ and Dorothy is part of the craft group who make things for sale at church events and we couldn’t forget the 3rd member of their team their dog.
