DESCRIPTION:We are fast approaching the season of Advent and the beginning of a very busy church and community calendar of events and services. Like me\, I suspect that you will be trying to balance your time and energies with all the seasonal commitments. In a couple of weeks\, we will be sharing with you all that is coming up in the parish. However\, in advance here is an event I would like to invite everyone to attend.  Advent Sunday\, 30th November\, marks the beginning of a new liturgical year and the principle gospel going into 2026 will be Matthew. We will be reading the whole of Matthew’s Gospel in preparation for hearing it Sunday by Sunday in church.

DESCRIPTION:The return of the Christmas Tree festival is almost here! Come along and see the many different trees that decorate the pews of St Michael’s. There will also be a raffle\, tombola\, crafts for sale and refreshments. Tickets: £3 Adults\, accompanied Children Free.\n\nJubilate choir will be singing between 2.30 – 3.30pm on both days \nHelpers needed for this event – There is a rota at the back of St Michael’s or message Kathryn if you can help. \nDonations needed: Adults and Children’s tombola prizes\, cakes and crafts. Let us know if you can help or donate items.
