DESCRIPTION:Next Sunday is a Joint Service at St John’s Church\, Bretherton. During the service we will hear about the Parishes efforts to create a safe and healthy culture to speak about what concerns us\, individually and as a church family\, all wrapped up in why we should do this…because Jesus said we should\, “Love one another\, as I have loved you”. We will hear from our Safeguarding team\, have a fun quiz and our youngsters will have an activity or two to complete. Oh\, and there will be cake!! SUMMARY:All Souls Memorial Service
DESCRIPTION:St Michael’s Church will be hosting\, on behalf of the parish\, a very special service of remembering and commemoration on Sunday 2nd November 4pm. It is an opportunity to be among others who feel the loss of a loved one deeply and to have space to remember them\, commemorate their life and be comforted in grief. As you enter church you will be asked for your loved one’s name by the welcomers\, and these will be read out during the service. You are also invited to light a candle in their memory. This service is for everyone and for every stage of grief. We look forward to you being with us on this poignant occasion.
