In her address Reverend Janet talked about promises and making pledges, both from God to each one of us and our pledges to God and each other.
Children from the uniformed organisations joined Rev’d Janet at the Chancel steps to repeat their pledges in front of the congregation before the congregation joined with Reverend Janet in congratulating Kathryn & John McCann on their special wedding anniversary, before Rev’d Janet made them play a game of Mr & Mrs.
After impressing everyone with how good they were at matching their answers Kathryn & John they renewed their vows.
We would like to thank Kathryn & John for joining in the fun of the quiz and showing the children how when we make our vows & pledges we are making a life long commitment to keep them.
Come and join us for our monthly Family service which lasts about 40 minutes and is child focused but enjoyed by all ages & you are welcome to join us for Tea, Coffee, Juice & biscuits after the service.
We have toilets & a baby changing area in the church with a child friendly area with lots to keep them occupied if needed.
