Mayor of Chorley 2016/17

Congratulations to Councillor Doreen Dickinson who lives in Croston and worships at Bretherton St. John the Baptist who is the Mayor of Chorley for the next 12 months.

Doreen has been a councillor in Lostock since the year 2000 and is the first Mayor from Croston.   The Mayor says: “It’s a huge privilege to be Chorley’s First Citizen and I’m really looking forward to meeting as many people as possible, who live, work and volunteer in our borough”.   Doreen has chosen three charities to support during her mayoral year;
St Catherine’s Hospice, the North West Air Ambulance and the Alzheimer’s Society.
