Picnic in the Woods

Our first Picnic in the Woods took place on Sunday 10th May 2015 after our Family Communion Service

and was a big hit with lots of families enjoying an informal lunch on the grass in Bishop’s Wood.

We had lots of games including “hook a duck”,

big noughts & crosses and Jenga, Guess the name of the Teddies, Teddy Bear tombola, and a raffle.

There were 4 Birds of prey on display from the Turberry House Garden Centre and a Butterfly Quiz organised by the scouts.

The weather was kind ( it didn’t rain!) and everyone had a great time as well as raising £100 towards the  Church Roof Fund.

We are already planning for next year’s picnic! Thanks to everyone who helped to make it a success!
