We wanted to create 100 rocks to place on a trail from church to the war memorial on Sunday 11th November, with poppies to remember those who lost their lives, poems, or any design that connects to the theme of Remembrance.
So on Saturday 29th September we held a rock painting workshop in St.Michael’s & All Angels Church. We provided pebbles and paint and we had all age groups from two years olds to over 70 year olds. There was a great atmosphere and we heard lots of stories about their grandfathers and great grandfathers.
