Steve & Jason Brante visited Croston to look around the church where their ancestors had worshiped.
Jason & Steve are visiting England with the award winning Barbershop Chorus from Dallas, Texas, USA , The choir is in the UK for the 41st British Association of Barbershop Singers (BABS) Convention which is taking place in Llandudno, North Wales.
Steve & Jason have traced their ancestry back to the Almond & Norris families living in Croston in the 1600’s, unfortunately it was only a quick visit as they are singing with the Barbershop chorus at a free concert at Liverpool Cathedral on 23rd May 2015 12:30 – 13:30 before traveling to Llandudno for the BABS Convention.
Due to time constraints they were unable to make contact with people in the village who still have the family name and may be distant relatives. They will be sending us details of their research & would welcome any additional information or contact from relatives.
