The gospels weren’t always broken up into nice neat chapters with helpful titles. When we read large chunks of scripture in one go, we see the overarching messages the gospel writers wanted us to hear and often notice some new and surprising things along the way. We will be hosting an afternoon where we can listen to each other reading a portion of the gospel or simply just come to listen. From the genealogy of Jesus in chapter 1 to the resurrection and the commissioning of the disciples in chapter 28, should take approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes. There will be refreshments to keep us going! You are welcome to bring a friend and something soft to sit on! Children are welcome and there will be activities for them to do.
