We are fast approaching the season of Advent and the beginning of a very busy church and community calendar of events and services. Like me, I suspect that you will be trying to balance your time and energies with all the seasonal commitments. In a couple of weeks, we will be sharing with you all that is coming up in the parish. However, in advance here is an event I would like to invite everyone to attend. Advent Sunday, 30th November, marks the beginning of a new liturgical year and the principle gospel going into 2026 will be Matthew. We will be reading the whole of Matthew’s Gospel in preparation for hearing it Sunday by Sunday in church.
