Mothers’ Union is a global Christian movement working with people of all faiths and none to develop communities, strengthen families and advocate for change. Its members are not all mothers or even all women, as there are many parents, men, widows, singles and grandparents involved in its work.

The Mothers’ Union meet on the first Wednesday of each month in the Parish Room behind St. Peter’s Church, Mawdesley, from 2pm until 4pm. Our next meeting is on Wednesday 1st May, 2024. If anyone from Croston and Bretherton, or anywhere, would like to come along to the meetings at Mawdesley they would be very welcome.

The group are meeting for lunch in the Red Lion in Mawdesley on Friday 19th April, and we send a warm invitation to everyone! If you would like to come along please contact Elaine  on 07739343696  or elainecmarsh@rocketmail.com; so she can book enough tables.

We are having a table at the Classic Car Rally in Mawdesley on 27th May, 2024 on the Cricket field just down from the church. We are hoping to raise funds and awareness for Domestic Violence in our area, as this is one of the major projects the Mother’s Union is focusing on at present.
