As each of the services through Holy Week focus on significant events, it’s helpful to see them as one service separated by intervals or overnight breaks. Entering into Jesus emptying of himself and becoming a servant at the last supper, his deep prayer and agony in the garden of Gethsemane, betrayal, arrest – torture, crucifixion, the nothingness and emptiness that precedes the resurrection, ahead of the glorious celebrations in Heaven and Earth on Easter morning. I encourage you to do as Jesus invites each one of us to do … ‘COME AND SEE’. Come and experience love – love of God, love of Jesus -the same love then as we are invited to encounter and receive now.
