Each of us is part of the life of the vine of God, we are grafted into God through our baptism. God’s story is our story. Jesus is the new vine: being in and connected to him makes us a part of God’s people. Jesus is one with his Father and so they come to dwell in us, and we inhabit God’s love. God is glorified by the fruit we bear, which is made possible because we are branches of the vine.
How well and truly rooted in Christ are you? Does your life bear fruit that glorifies God and builds up his Kingdom?
