Unsung Hero’s

We often miss the ‘unsung hero’s’ who work quietly in the background, often never seen working away for the benefit of the church and the congregation, so we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to thank Carol and Lavinia .

As you can see they are hard at work sowing numbers onto each of the pew cushions to ensure we know which pew they come from. With well over 100 cushions it’s no easy task but it’s important we know where they come from as the pews differ in length.
Their hard work will make it easy to return the cushions to the correct pews once the restoration work is completed.
