Hello and welcome.
The 3 churches of St John the Baptist Bretherton, St Michael & All Angels Croston and St Peter Mawdesley have come together as a single community.
Reverend Michael Woods, is the Rector of the United Benifice of Croston, Bretherton & Mawdesley with Bispham.
He is a local person who started his working life at Leyland Motors, living in Leyland & Longton before hetrained at Ripon College, Cuddesdon in Oxfordshire. He then served his curacy at St Aiden’s Bamber Bridge before moving to Rishton where he has been the rector for the last nine years.
Reverend Janet Taylor continues to serve as a self-supporting Associate Priest in the three parishes, working alongside Reverend Michael building up a ministry team.
