It is very important for those considering being confirmed to become part of the family of the church at either of the parish’s churches in Croston, Bretherton or Mawdesley. Service times are displayed in this pew sheet and on line. You may find this difficult with sporting events, but we are blessed with three churches offering services at a variety of times throughout the month.
Preparation session are intended to prepare young people and adults not only for the service but in following Jesus and living a life that follows Jesus’ teaching and many blessings, as found in the Bible. Preparation is a great opportunity to ask questions and explore the Christian faith as part of an exciting journey or pilgrimage that will take a lifetime of learning and growing. Young people and adults will have their own preparation sessions. If you attend one of our church schools, then you will be receiving a letter in September, although you can reply directly to me via email if you prefer.
Young people’s session will take place on Sunday 18th October 1-5pm at St John’s Church, Bretherton. Adults session will be negotiated with those seeking confirmation. Please contact Rev’d Tracy if you would like more information
