Our very first ALM (Authorised Lay Minister), Tasha Leach, was authorised and commissioned at a very special service at Blackburn Cathedral on Thursday evening.
The Rt Revd Dr Jill Duff, Bishop of Lancaster, led the service of commissioning which included Tasha being authorised by Revd Tracy for her ministry in leading worship in the parish. For those of us lucky enough to have been present, it was a wonderful service marking the official beginning of Tasha’s ministry in leading worship. Please continue to pray for Tasha as she hones her ministry, relying on the gifting of the Holy Spirit to guide her. We presented Tasha with a card and a small gift, from all in the parish, to help her in her ministry. A few photos have been included to help you share in Tasha’s and our joy. We will hear a little bit, from Tasha about the ALM training she undertook next week.
