Last Sunday’s Youth Group fell again during the school holidays, so we were a little short on youngsters attending. However, that didn’t stop us eating 22 pancakes, learning about what Lent means for each of us personally, making ash from last year’s palm crosses and considering what repentance means for our relationship with Jesus. The fun didn’t stop there though…Lent quizzes and deciding how Youth Group will service in churches and encourage us all to service others locally and worldwide in need, in the coming months. Watch out for information and I encourage you to pray for our young people as they seek to know more about Jesus and grow more in love with him.
There is, undeniably, a big demand on the time of young people who are involved in sporting activities on a Sunday. Therefore, we are wondering if a Friday evening would be a better day and time to enable more young people to attend Youth Group. Please let Revd Tracy know your thoughts.
